Abandoned Adventure
My first double exposure project, 'Abandoned Adventure' stems from a photograph taken of me by a friend, and a photo I took one winter afternoon of the sky and landscape over the woods across from my house. The picture of me is important because it captures me in a focused mood showing off a sense of hard work. Paired with the picture of the sky I took, which is important because it's what I see so often at home, provides for a omniscient portrait. The story behind the picture of me is that it was taken while exploring an abandoned ski lift. When looking at the picture it brings me back to the hot summer day adventuring through woods to explore and discover the once-running attraction known as 'The SugarLoaf'.
